Dunkin' Donuts LLC, in conjunction with the CPSC, is recalling about 1 million pink and orange glow sticks because they can pose a choking and strangulation hazard to consumers. These glow sticks were given away as a free gift with the purchase of donuts.

Hazard: The recalled glow sticks are not properly labeled to warn consumers that the cap and lanyard can detach, posing a choking hazard. Additionally, the lanyard poses a strangulation hazard to young children.

So far no injuries have been reported to Dunkin' Donuts. The glow sticks were given away at Dunkin' Donuts stores across the United States from September 2007 to October 2007. This product was manufactured in China. Consumers should take these glow sticks away from children immediately to prevent injury.
