A second motorcyclist has died in a wreck occuring at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The first fatality of the 2007 bike rally was caused when Lancaster's Charles Horton turned left in front of Michael Delamere's motorcycle on U.S. 17 Business near the Garden City Connector last Friday, said Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins with the S.C. Highway Patrol.

In 2006, eight people died in motorcycle crashes during the spring Harley-Davidson rally. That's up five from the 2005 spring rally, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
